All This Way for a Seagull??
We headed South a little early because we had rain most of the day. We got in a looooong nap and then got a quick break in the rain...so Cody got to see the ocean for the first time. He was thrilled, but more exciting than the surf was this rat with wings...oops, I mean seagull! Cody chased him quite a ways down the beach, pointing and laughing. And my soul was soothed by the sound of the surf...it's been way too long!

I hope you post some of the photos I took...... the family ones and that cool (gosh, I hope it came out cool) pelican one with a throat full just about to take off....
Gald you enjoyed your time at the beach. that sounds so wonderful today, especially with the snow storm that we are getting right now.
